Furikake is basically stuff you put on top of white rice to add flavor. There are a million varieties, but it oftenincludes seaweed, sesame and some kind of fish product.
The one in the photo at the bottom was made at home by the parents of my host – it includes some sort of tiny fish.

Americans who decided to separate the taste from the food (I mean the stuff
